As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients in a friendly and professional prosthodontic dental office.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and documenting vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Utilize Dentrix software for documentation and patient management.
Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms and sterilization of instruments.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and maintain knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of New York.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and patient care standards.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is preferred.
Familiarity with dental assisting practices is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for documentation review.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in prosthodontic dental office

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
