As a Sterile Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our surgical equipment. Your attention to detail and adherence to strict sterilization protocols will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients and help us continue to deliver the highest standard of care.
Duties include:
Daily cleaning, decontamination, sorting, packaging and sterilization of instrumentation and equipment
Maintains logs/recordkeeping on maintenance care and sterilization load
Monitors effectiveness of sterilization process
Prepares and assembles trays, kits and packs
Rotates, stores and orders supplies as needed
Assist Hygienist with charting and sterilization of rooms
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a healthcare or dental setting is required
Proficiency in infection control practices and protocols
Experience with X-Ray imaging and software (Denticon) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
