Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while performing dental hygiene procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental care practices.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture X-rays and other diagnostic images.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft
Adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on comfort and satisfaction.
Proficient in taking vital signs and understanding their implications for dental health.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.
Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices and pediatric dentistry principles.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental office management software.
Ability to maintain an aseptic technique in all clinical procedures.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
