Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings. This position involves assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring that the dental clinic operates smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Take X-rays as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Manage patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed.

Skills

Proficiency in general dentistry practices
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dental care.
Ability to perform X-ray imaging safely and effectively.
Knowledge of medical documentation processes to ensure accurate patient records.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
