Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in patient service and possess knowledge of dental terminology. Familiarity with Dentrix, Epic, or similar software is a plus. SPANISH SPEAKING A MAJOR PLUS
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns promptly- Verify insurance information and process payments accurately- Maintain electronic health records using Dentrix or similar systems- Assist with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the dental office
Experience:
The successful candidate should ideally have experience in the following areas:
- Previous work as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical receptionist role- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures- Proficiency in using phone systems for scheduling and communication- Familiarity with software such as Dentrix, Epic, or other electronic health record systems- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
