Dental Hygienist - New You Dental Center - Livonia, MI

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated , experienced and highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join us. You will be working on a commission (%) + a guaranteed minimum base hourly rate. Your compensation will be closely tied to the procedures and services you provide . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health care for our patients.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix Ascend.
Collaborate with Treatment Coordinators, the office manger, dentists and dental assistants in providing comprehensive dental care.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Conduct preliminary examinations, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Provide support in medical coding for insurance claims as needed.

Skills

Experience working in a dental clinic as a dental hygienist.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
Highly proficient with aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
Proficient in using Dentrix Ascend or similar dental management software.
Understanding of medical coding related to general dentistry practices and hygiene.
