We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are looking to fill a Full-time or Part-time (2/week) position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort during their visits. This role involves performing various clinical tasks, educating patients on oral hygiene, and collaborating with the dental team to deliver exceptional care.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and oral health evaluations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to maintain optimal oral health.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of patient records using Dentrix.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dentist to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated on medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental hygiene practices.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in using dental software Dentrix is preferred.
Knowledge of infection control procedures.
Strong communication skills with an ability to assess and address patient needs effectively.
