Dental Hygienist - Dr. Nicole Padovan DMD - Edison, NJ

Hi!We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The hours will be Monday's 8am- 5pm and Thursday's 8am- 2pm, (We may add more hours on Thursday's in the future. )
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to promote oral health and educate patients on proper hygiene practices.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and evaluating oral health conditions.
Utilize medical imaging technology to assist in diagnosing dental issues.
Maintain accurate medical records using Dentrix software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Implement infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists in developing treatment plans for pediatric dentistry as needed.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred
Dentrix, Dexis experience is a plus!
Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and infection control standards is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
