OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the overall health of our patients' teeth and gums. This role requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education and comfort.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software, including medical coding as necessary.
Apply aseptic techniques to ensure a clean and safe environment for all dental procedures.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care in a supportive manner.
Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry practices and technologies.

Requirements

Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health.
Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental assisting practices is beneficial.
Strong patient care skills with an emphasis on empathy and communication.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
