OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a blend of technical skills and a compassionate approach to ensure a comfortable environment for patients. Position is Tuesday and Wednesday 8-5 with 1 hour lunch.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Or work towards your certification.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using dental software such as Dentrix.
Manage infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean clinical environment.
Manage patient flow within the clinic efficiently.

Skills

Familiarity with dental terminology.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures and treatments.
Experience with imaging techniques, including the use of 3D scanners for diagnostics (willing to train the right person)
Strong infection control practices to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
