Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
Take medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and following up on visits.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory. Fast learner a plus.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices is essential; knowledge of prosthodontics is a plus.
Proficiency in medical documentation practices and understanding of HIPAA regulations.
Experience with front desk duties a plus.
Ability to operate medical imaging equipment.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
