Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Orange Coast Dental. In this role, you will support our dental professionals in delivering outstanding patient care while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the practice.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to aseptic techniques.
Manage patient records and maintain accurate medical documentation.
Take X-rays as needed for diagnostic purposes.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental practice.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
