Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist in providing high-quality dental care while ensuring a comfortable and efficient environment for patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and patient management.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including endodontics and other dental treatments.
Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Perform four-handed dentistry to enhance the efficiency of procedures.
Take and record vital signs as needed to monitor patient health.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Manage medical documentation accurately, including patient records and treatment notes.
Utilize Eaglesoft or similar dental software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
Provide support as a dental receptionist when required, including greeting patients and answering inquiries.

ExperienceCandidates should possess knowledge in the following areas:

Dental terminology and anatomy knowledge to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Familiarity with infection control systems to uphold safety standards in the practice.
Experience with medical documentation practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Previous experience in a dental assistant role is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow in their careers.
