OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. Your expertise in general dentistry and patient assessment will contribute to a positive experience for our patients.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Perform medical imaging as required to assist in diagnosis.
Document patient medical history, including vital signs and medical terminology.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for young patients.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient records management and medical coding.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices and procedures.
Experience with medical imaging techniques and interpretation.
Knowledge of medical coding and terminology related to dental care.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
Strong skills in patient assessment and providing compassionate patient care.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the dental team.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
