Bilingual Assistant ( English and Spanish )We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
Prepare and maintain the dental operatory by ensuring all instruments are sterile and ready for use.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments and handling billing inquiries.
Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques throughout all procedures.
Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for young patients.
Assist with endodontic and prosthodontic procedures as needed, ensuring patient comfort throughout.
Stay updated on dental terminology and systems to effectively communicate with both patients and staff.
Qualifications
Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential.
Familiarity with infection control practices in a dental setting is required.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred, with exposure to endodontics and prosthodontics being advantageous.
Understanding of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus.
Proficient in dental terminology and able to operate dental receptionist systems effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.
