Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Anesthesia Assistant (DAA) to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dental team in providing high-quality care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the office. This role requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, making it essential for the candidate to be organized, detail-oriented, and compassionate towards patients.
Duties

Assist dentists during various Oral Surgery procedures
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Take and record vital signs as needed to monitor patient health.
Manage patient records accurately, including medical history and treatment notes.
Utilize dental terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff.
Maintain sterilization protocols for instruments and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
Assist in educating patients on oral health care practices.

Qualifications

Must have current DAANCE and DAA certification
Knowledge of dental terminology is essential for effective communication within the practice.
Experience in managing medical records accurately is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS)

We do have 2 office locations that the entire team travels between. Port Orchard, Bainbridge Island.

Pay: $28.50 - $35.00 per hour
