Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of infection control and dental hygiene practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to deliver comprehensive oral health assessments and treatments, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care in accordance with established protocols.
Utilize Eaglesoft or similar systems for managing patient information and scheduling appointments.
Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, working collaboratively with the dentist during treatments.
Stay current with dental terminology, systems, and advancements in general dentistry.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with dental office operations and patient care best practices.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures in a clinical setting.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
