Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling, including follow-ups and reminders.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient office operations.

Experience

Previous experience as a dental assistant
Familiarity with dental software preferred. (We use Open Dental)
Knowledge of medical and dental terminology is essential.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients of all ages.
