We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This position requires a professional who is knowledgeable in general dentistry practices and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings and periodontal therapy, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ oral health, documenting findings accurately.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize medical imaging systems to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Review documentation related to patient care and treatment outcomes.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Proficient in four-handed dentistry and dental assisting techniques.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical records management.
Familiarity with medical imaging systems and general dentistry practices.
Knowledge of human anatomy as it relates to dental health.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
