Dental Hygienist - Winchester Dental Spa - Winchester, VA

We are seeking a full time Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our ideal candidate is positive, professional and has a warm, outgoing personality. You must be energetic, able to multi-task and good with time management. Patient experience, satisfaction and relationship building are a high priority with our team. Duties to include:

performing patient screening procedures; assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting and taking blood pressure and pulse
taking digital dental radiographs, 3D images, intraoral photos
removing calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth
applying preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides)
teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)
counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health
reviewing recommended treatment with patients
performing documentation and office management activities, manage recall system, schedule patients
assisting the doctor and other team members as needed
administering local anesthesia

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
