Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical records and taking vital signs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and preventive care strategies.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean environment during all procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care activities in compliance with clinic policies.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the Washington State.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles, medical terminology, and patient care protocols.
Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
