Dental Hygienist - Holistic Dental Center - Spokane, WA

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest standards of oral health. This position involves working closely with patients to educate them about their dental health, we are a Fluoride free practice.
Our office is open Tues., Wed., Thurs., 7:30-5pm.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical records and documenting vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist dentists during examinations, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans in compliance with dental terminology standards.
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment for all procedures.
Review and update dental records to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in Washington State.
Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and documentation review processes.
Proficient in patient assessment techniques and vital signs monitoring.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
