*Job Summary*
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dental team to provide quality oral healthcare services to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, maintaining infection control standards, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
*Duties*
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and equipment
- Take dental X-rays
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical histories
- Perform sterilization and disinfection of instruments and equipment
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
*Skills*
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix
-Proficiency in using Itero scanner.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
- Familiarity with prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry procedures
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and colleagues
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in medical records management is beneficial
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
