Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify potential issues.
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, while adhering to infection control protocols.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Collaborate with the dental team during four-handed dentistry procedures to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Experience in general dentistry preferred; familiarity with pediatrics is a plus.
Proficient in infection control measures and aseptic techniques.
Strong patient care skills with an emphasis on empathy and communication.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar dental management software is desirable.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
