OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Your expertise in various dental technologies and procedures will be essential in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Manage patient records using Open Dental software, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and appointments.
Perform medical imaging tasks, including X-rays and 3D scanning, to support diagnostic processes.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance workflow efficiency and improve patient experiences.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques, including X-ray technology.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices within a dental environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Be punctual and available to work 1 -2 Saturdays a month

Pay: $13.00 - $25.00 per hour
