Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and understanding of medical coding is advantageous.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with dental assisting systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is beneficial.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
