**Job Title: Dental Assistant** **Overview:** Join our team as a Dental Assistant and play a crucial role in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the dental office. **Duties:** - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort - Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients - Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies - Maintain accurate patient records **Experience:** - Proficiency in medical terminology and dental terminology - Knowledge of vital signs monitoring - Experience in pediatrics and general dentistry settings - Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus - Understanding of infection control protocols - Ability to perform dental receptionist duties when needed - Experience in pediatric dentistry is advantageous - Skilled in aseptic technique **Requirements:** - High school diploma or equivalent; certification or associate degree in dental assisting is preferred - X-ray certification is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Attention to detail and organizational skills If you are a dedicated Dental Assistant with a passion for patient care and a desire to contribute to a positive dental experience, we invite you to apply for this position.
