OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and positive Lead Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. Above all, we have fun at work and have amazing patients!
* Our Schedule alternates 2-day weekend & 4-day weekend schedule
- Monday-Thursday
- Tuesday-Friday
(9am-5pm, 7am-3pm)
Able to assist about 3-9 patients a day with exceptional care.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using OpenDental software & EZ Denti xray software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
Skills
Proficient at going over consent forms and post-op care instructions & follow-up calls.
Experience in dental assisting with a focus on patient care.
Detail oriented & organized.
Knowledge of infection control standards in a dental clinic setting.
Experience with cord packing, iTero 3D scanning technology, and proficient temporary crown/bridge fabrication.
Traditional (bracket) orthodontics & Clear aligner adjustments is a plus, but can be trained.
Bilingual is a plus.
