Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to help cover a maternity leave at dental practice then transition in to every Monday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, focusing on preventive oral health and hygiene. You will work closely with the dental team to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience for our patients while adhering to best practices in infection control and patient safety.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, assessing patients' oral health.
Laser usage
Intra oral scanning
Take and document vital signs as part of the initial patient assessment.
Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection during dental procedures.
Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene practices and general dentistry topics.
Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with practice standards.
Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles and practices.
Experience with vital signs monitoring,
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care.
Proficient in maintaining medical records and documentation review processes.
Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures in a clinical setting.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.
