What we are looking for : We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you are passionate about dentistry and have excellent clinical skills, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take x-rays- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as fabricating temporary crowns- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role preferred- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft- Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
