Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with patients to educate them about dental hygiene practices, perform clinical procedures, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment in the clinic.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
Maintain accurate medical records and document all patient interactions in compliance with clinic protocols.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Assist in pediatric dental care by providing age-appropriate education and treatment.
Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

Proven experience in general dentistry is preferred, with a strong focus on patient care.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practices is essential.
Experience working within a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of systems related to patient assessment and record management is a plus.
Aseptic technique proficiency is required to maintain safety standards within the clinic.
