Lone Tree Modern Dental is a highly-rated family dental practice in the South Denver area near Park Meadows. We are growing and seeking to add a Dental Assistant-EDDA to our team. Office Hours:
Monday-Friday (availability between 7am-4:30pm)
Responsibilities:
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
Take and develop dental x-rays
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Assist with dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
Perform dental charting and record patient information
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic technique is followed
Manage dental supplies inventory and order as needed
Schedule patient appointments and handle dental receptionist duties as required

Requirements
3+ years of experience in general dentistry
EDDA experience, EDDA certification preferred
Valid CPR Certification
Valid Xray Certification
Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and operating CAD systems
Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures
Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic technique
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and interpretation of results is a plus
Familiarity with taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately
