OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on both preventative and restorative treatments. This role requires a commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations to determine oral health needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and preferences.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in performing oral surgery procedures is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment options clearly.
