Full Job Description:
Our team is looking for a four day a week dental assistant for our busy pediatric dental office. If you enjoy working with children, then we have a job for you! As a dental assistant you are responsible for helping our dentist create a fun, safe, and trusting atmosphere for our little patients. It is expected that as a dental assistant you work hard, put the patient first and have a positive attitude.

Some dental assisting experience is preferred but willing to train the right applicant.
Applicant must be a team player, self motivated, eager to learn, friendly and have strong communication skills.
Experience with Curve Dental Software and X-ray certified would be beneficial

Job Duties:

Assist the dentist during treatment procedures
Set up and breakdown operatory after treatment
Take and process dental x-rays
Provide oral health education to patients and parents
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a dental office a plus
X-Ray certified
Strong communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
