Dental Assistant - Dental Office of Dr. Gary DiSanto-Rose and Dr. Sarah Fox - Johnstown, NY

Dr. DiSanto-Rose and Dr. Fox are looking for a FT dental assistant M-Th 7:30am-4/4:30pm. One of our dental assistants is going to Vet School! We are looking for a hard-working, reliable and charismatic addition to our team. Dental experience preferred, but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate. Front office experience a plus- as we cross-train our team.
Some Responsibilities and Duties will include

Greeting and seating patients
Taking Blood pressure
Infection control of operatories before and after patient treatment
Preparing instruments for patient treatment
Sterilizing instruments
Chairside assisting the Dentist or Hygienist with patient procedures
Entering treatment notes in patient's electronic chart
Taking radiographs, impressions and photographs
Laboratory work- clinical and clerical
Cleaning of office
Cross training with front office

Qualifications and Skills
Applicant should have excellent communication skills and be proficient with computers. Previous dental or medical office experience is preferred. New York State Dental Assistant Certification is a plus- but we will work with assistants to obtain their certification.
Staff members are required to wear PPE which is furnished. There is a washer and dryer on premise so employees do not wear their uniforms home

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
