OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, fillings, and preventive care.
Utilize aseptic techniques during all procedures to ensure patient safety and hygiene.
Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient treatments and progress using electronic health records systems such as Epic.
Fabricate dental appliances as needed for patient treatment plans.
Provide guidance on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care to patients.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices, including medical imaging and understanding of dental terminology.
Experience in four-handed dentistry is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care with a focus on comfort and satisfaction.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
