Full time Dental Assistant EFDA x-ray certified for our pediatric dental offices in Sellersville and Doylestown locations Monday through Thursday. . Applicants Must travel to two locations. We are a rapidly expanding Pediatric Dental office and we are looking for enthusiastic, positive, energetic and friendly team players to join our exciting practice. Summary
As a Dental Assistant/EFDA, you will be integral to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort during procedures. Reporting to the lead dentist, your core skills in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and aseptic techniques will be essential in supporting various treatments, including general dentistry and prosthodontics. Your proficiency with EMR systems and X-ray technology will enhance patient management and documentation. Additionally, your understanding of pediatric dentistry and medical imaging will allow you to cater to diverse patient needs, making you a vital member of our dental team.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
Prepare and organize dental instruments and materials for various treatments.
Take and develop dental radiographs while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain patient records and manage appointments using Curve.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Support pediatric patients with a compassionate approach during their visits.
