Job Title: Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant or LPN
FLSA Status: Non- Exempt

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Primary Purpose of the Job

If you answered yes, Pittsburgh Dental Sleep Medicine has a position for you. Our practice is 100% dedicated to treating people who suffer from obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy. If you enjoy working with people and want to learn the exciting field of sleep medicine/dental sleep medicine, this is the practice for you.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED
Graduate of Dental Assistant program and or Dental Assistant Certification or proof of on the job training OR
Certified Medical Assistant OR
Valid LPN PA License
1 year of job-related experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Our Assistant must

Have solid assisting skills including patient interaction, positioning, and visual examination
Have excellent customer service skills and be able to function in a highly collaborative team. This includes excellent written and communication skills.
Be open to learning, detailed oriented and committed to the patient care
Be flexible to the ever-changing healthcare environment.
Have basic to advance Electronic Health Record experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EFDA, Dental Assistant Certification OR
Medical Assistant or Valid Nursing License
Customer service experience
Medical / Dental /outpatient/ office experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
