Fresh Dental Family Dentistry & Implant Center on Coit and Campbell in Dallas is looking for a responsible, motivated, outgoing, and friendly full-time dental assistant to join our team.
Our goal is to create a team working and fun environment. We do many team building activities, going out for lunches, meeting and training so we can communicate and provide the best dental care to the patient. Training will be provided. Our offices are state of the art with cutting-edge technology- Microscope, intraoral scanners, Intraoral camera, CBCT.
We are hiring a Dental Assistant to assist our dental team with a variety of tasks in both the office and the treatment areas. The successful candidate will enjoy interacting with patients and staff, be able to prioritize tasks, perform administrative duties and be able to provide excellent customer service to our patients. We are conveniently located near PGBT and Coit in the Far North Dallas near Plano and Richardson.
Monday to Thursday. Office open for patient 9AM to 5PM, Two Fridays and one saturday a month 8AM to 2 PM
At least 1 year of experience in Dental assisting (required)
Spanish (required)
Responsibilities:
Initiate treatment procedures and instruments.
Book appointments for dentist and staff.
Communicate with patients and staff to ensure proper procedure implementation.
Document important patient information on dental charts.
Ensure that dentists and staff are prepared for each appointment.
Assure quality of care is given to all dental patients.
Assists with procedures by handling instruments; prepares or mixes dental materials as instructed.
Prepares work areas and instruments for dentist; keep work area neat and orderly; cleans; oils and sets up equipment; dust and disinfects surfaces; sterilizes instruments; sets up instrument trays.
Sterilize instruments according to OSHA regulations.
Take dental impressions and send to lab.
Assists with taking x-rays.
Adhere to the highest standard of dental practices, ethics and professionalism at all times.
Clean and stock operatories
Control supplies and order as needed
Complete lab work including bleach trays, temporary crowns, pouring and trimming models, unpack and follow lab cases
Anticipate doctorâs needs during all procedures
Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and privacy policies at all times
Assist with the implementation of practice marketing strategies such as asking for referrals and reviews
Other duties as assigned

Dallas, TX 75248: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 â 40 per week
