Job OverviewWe are seeking an experience Dental Hygienist interested in a hybrid role to join our dynamic dental team. The hybrid role would entail Dental Hygiene (1-2 days per week) and Treatment Coordinator (2-3 days per week). The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health practices, performing patient intake interviews, presenting treatment estimates, and financial arrangements for new and existing patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and commitment to patient-specific treatment solutions.
This position includes a competitive base salary paired with a tiered bonus structure based on overall office collections. Candidates become eligible for bonus after completion of the initial 3-month training period.
Duties
Conduct dental examinations and capture high-quality diagnostic images to assess oral health and provide appropriate therapy.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of dental office systems, ensuring efficient workflow.
Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Uphold aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and clean clinical environment.
Contact referred patients by phone and perform intake interview to establish detailed dental history and treatment goals.
Educate patients regarding recommended treatment or treatment options as specified by the dental specialist.
Present treatment estimates and establish financial arrangements for new and existing patients.
ExperienceCandidates should possess the following qualifications:
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic is preferred.
Familiarity with medical records management and dental assisting is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
