Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Record patient medical history and dental records
Manage appointments, including scheduling, treatment plan presentation and scheduling treatment as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infection and maintain a sterile environment.
Support administrative tasks such as managing check in, check out, collecting payments, making sure next appointment is booked
Restocking and reorganizing, maintaining clean workplace
Requirements
Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is essential.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred
Proficiency in using dental software like Dentrix is a plus.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
X-ray certification, can be obtain after job acceptance
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
