Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, infection control protocols, and proficiency with dental software. We prefer those who have a desire to learn and grow.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using dental software.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes when required.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and checking in patients.
Support pediatric dentistry procedures with care and attention to younger patients' needs.
Assist in endodontic procedures by preparing materials and instruments.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices, infection control measures, and aseptic techniques is essential.
Experience with a dental software system like EagleSoft is highly desirable.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Knowledge of assisting in Orthodontic procedures
