Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. Dental experinence is not required. We can train on the job. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative tasks necessary for a smooth-running dental office. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of dental office procedures.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of the dentist's time.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about services and addressing patient concerns.
Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry tasks related to patient information and billing.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
Skills
Proficiency in dental office management practices.
Strong understanding of dental terminology relevant to dental care.
Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with patients and insurance companies.
Experience in dental not required. We can train on the job.
Ability to type efficiently and accurately, particularly using 10 key typing methods.
