Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Chapel Hill, NC
Our periodontal practice has an opening for a hygienist to work 1-2 days per week. The maximum number of patients per day is 8. We use the EMS AirFlow system which uses the latest technology available to clean teeth. It is easier for the patient and the hygienist. Our existing hygienist has been using it for several years, and we are happy to provide training.
Summary
As a Dental Hygienist, you serve as a vital part of promoting oral health and providing outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and a thorough knowledge of dental hygiene practices.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices.
Utilize SoftDent for documentation.
Capture x-rays based on the patient's need.
Use the EMS AirFlow system.
Form clinical notes and letters based off the patient's appointment.
Clean rooms in between patients and help in sterilization as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.03 - $54.23 per hour
