Duties

Perform thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting vital signs checks.
Execute four-handed dentistry techniques while assisting the dentist during procedures.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as per established protocols.
Document patient treatment plans and progress accurately in the clinic's systems.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting or a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential.
Familiarity with documentation review processes in a clinical setting is beneficial.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are required.
