Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and oral examinations.
Administer preventive dental care, including teeth cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and documentation review.
Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Proficient knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques is essential.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
