This position involves assisting with various dental procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and organize treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Take and record vital signs of patients as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage sterilization of instruments and adhere to aseptic techniques at all times.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, providing a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Support in prosthodontics procedures by preparing materials and assisting during treatment.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and workflow efficiency.

Skills

Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Strong understanding of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices within a dental setting.
Ability to assist effectively in various dental specialties including pediatrics and prosthodontics.
