Job Description:
Garner Dental Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our well-established team. This position offers flexibility with 2-4 days of work per week, providing a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
Conduct patient assessments, including oral health screenings and reviewing medical history
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Administer local anesthesia as required
Take and interpret dental x-rays and other diagnostic procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including treatment plans and progress notes
Follow strict infection control protocols and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene and participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements:

Valid IA Dental Hygiene license (required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good computer skills and attention to detail
Experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of dental coding for billing and insurance purposes
Familiarity with dental imaging systems and diagnostic procedures
