OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Take and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse.
Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Manage patient records and appointments, including scheduling follow-up visits.
Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners, while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide support in specialized areas such as pediatrics and prosthodontics as needed.
Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Provide support and assistance to Hygienists when available.

Qualifications

Proficiency in dental terminology is essential.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is desirable.
Knowledge of prosthodontics procedures is an advantage.
Experience using Epic or similar dental software is preferred.
Ability to take vital signs accurately.
Strong assisting skills in a clinical setting.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is beneficial.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
