Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before procedures.- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Skills- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix Ascend and Dentrix is preferred.- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications- Chairside assisting experience- Proficiency in dental terminology- Knowledge of 3D scanner usage- Familiarity with general dentistry procedures- Understanding of aseptic technique- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and dental team- Radiology Certification- Experience in dental assisting
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
